Connectarr

Version 3.5.0

VDEFounder

Faster, more reliable, and better connected

This update focuses heavily on performance, reliability and making Connectarr behave consistently across devices, networks and services.

Performance across the app

Home, Library, Activity, Calendar and Missing have received significant performance improvements. Large libraries and channel lists scroll more smoothly, screens avoid unnecessary background refreshes, and Connectarr now performs fewer requests when nothing has changed.

Library data is also reused more intelligently instead of being reloaded every time you return to a screen.

Better multi-server support

Using multiple Sonarr or Radarr instances is now more reliable throughout Connectarr.

Library items, posters, search results, Spotlight, Siri, Missing items and Seer requests are matched more accurately to the correct server, while an unavailable secondary server no longer makes its existing library disappear.

Improved remote access

Connectarr now switches more reliably between local and remote addresses when you leave or return home.

Actions including manual search, downloads, subtitles, Seer requests and library management can use the appropriate connection directly, reducing unnecessary delays when accessing your services remotely.

Activity and download clients

Activity has received a major reliability pass across qBittorrent, Transmission, NZBGet and Synology Download Station.

Download status, progress, remaining time and actions such as Pause, Resume and Delete are more consistent. An unavailable download client is also clearly identified without affecting information coming from your other services.

Notifications and navigation

Notifications are now more consistent across multiple devices and languages.

Opening a notification, widget, Spotlight result, Siri Shortcut or in-app message takes you directly to the relevant screen — including screens that aren't currently part of your custom tab bar.

Notification registration has also been improved so changes made on one device don't unexpectedly affect another.

iCloud, backups and device transfers

iCloud synchronization has been strengthened across multiple Apple devices.

Connections, API keys and passwords can sync securely through iCloud Keychain when synchronization is enabled, while reconnecting iCloud or setting up another device better preserves your existing configuration.

Backup restoration and device-to-device transfers have also received additional reliability improvements.

Docker

Docker management now works with a wider range of Docker versions, including environments commonly found on Synology, Debian and Ubuntu.

Container and stack updates are more reliable, private registries and pinned images are better supported, and Connectarr performs fewer unnecessary image update checks.

Service improvements

This release also includes improvements across:

  • Seer / Overseerr requests and statuses

  • Tdarr queues, libraries and authenticated servers

  • Tautulli activity and pagination

  • Dispatcharr channels, recordings and TV Guide

  • Bazarr subtitles

  • Prowlarr and Jackett indexers

  • NZBGet

  • Transmission

  • Synology Download Station

  • Docker and Portainer

Accessibility and localization

Connectarr continues to improve support for VoiceOver, screen readers and larger text sizes.

More controls now have meaningful accessibility labels, series and episode information is easier to navigate with VoiceOver, and widgets, Spotlight, Siri and additional system-facing content follow the language and regional formatting used by Connectarr.

Stability improvements

We've also made a broad range of stability improvements throughout the app, with clearer error states and better recovery when a service or network connection temporarily becomes unavailable.

And, as usual, this release includes many smaller UI, localization and reliability improvements throughout Connectarr.
